two words: vortex menagerie
i have been writing through the foundation of my next series of work, seeking inspiration in part from czech collage artist karel teige and the newly discovered (to me) contemporary artist maurizio anzeri. i am facinated by the concept of collage, collaboration and cohabitation. the splicing of images and minds and people together. i believe understanding and communication to be a collage of perspectives and two people choosing to share a life together as a life-long creative collaboration.
